On Sunday, at the age of 64 died Włodzimierz Winkler, vice-president of the training department of the Wielkopolska Volleyball Federation.

On Sunday, at the age of 64 died Włodzimierz Winkler, vice-president of the training department of the Wielkopolska Volleyball Federation. He was a vice-president and founder of Joker Piła. In years 2006 - 2010 he was in a city council and in 2010 – he joined the county council. At the beginning of October 2012 he was a delegate for the General assembly of the Polish volleyball Federation.


- It was a great and modest person – this is how President of Jokera Piła, Jerzy Jasiński, recalls Włodzimierz Winkler. – He performed a great task for the sake of sport and volleyball, which meant a lot for him. He took care of many young players and shared his passion with them. Not only he used to teach they how to play volleyball, but also how to live a good life. Thanks to Włodek, most of these players manager to graduate studies.
