Today on Cyprus, the World Championships Under 19 began. Three polish pairs will participate in the tournament. Last year our pair dominated the event. The gold medal went to Katarzyna Kociołek/Karolina Baran and Maciej Kosiak/Łukasz Kaczmarek.
Players Katarzyna Kociołek and Karolina Baran will defend the title in Larnaka. This is our only female pair at the tournament in Cyprus. This season, Katarzyna Kociołek in pair with Jagoda Gruszczyńska won gold medal of the Championships of Europe U18, repeating the success from the past season, when she reaches the laurels with Karolina Baran.
At the men’s part of the tournament in Cyprus we will see Łukasz Kaczmarek/Sebastian Kaczmarek and Michał Bryl/Kacper Kujawiak. The first pair are the gold medalists from the last year’s ECH U18. Łukasz Kaczmarek, who last year won the tournament with Maciej Kosiakiem will defend the title in Larnaca.
