Beata Gałek and Kinga Kołosińska began unfavorably the U23 European Beach Volleyball Championship in Greece. In the first group match, the girls coached by Violetta Bakoś had to recognize the superiority of Germans Borger-BÜthe (0:2). The Polish players tried to compete with the rivals in the first set (17:21), but the German duo dominated the second set, winning 21:13.

There are two group matches ahead, against Dubovcova-Kuciakova (Slovakia) and GulÜ-Burcu (Turkey).
