In 2011 they were a phenomenon at the international arena of beach volleyball in the polish sport. They promoted quickly in the FIVB ranking, and became the news during the World Championship in Rome when winning the prestigious podium places and the Olympic promotion. Therefore, it is not a surprise that the results of their hard work have been noticed and Mariusz Prudel with Grzegorz Fijałek got to the list of nominated for the plebiscite of “Przegląd Sportowy” magazine for the top ten polish athletes.

Therefore, it is not a surprise that the results of their hard work have been noticed and Mariusz Prudel with Grzegorz Fijałek got to the list of nominated for the plebiscite of “Przegląd Sportowy” magazine for the top ten polish athletes.

- During the last trainings we had to deal with injury of Grzegorz, therefore, we could not train as much as we wanted. Everything is already fine – said Mariusz Prudel before the departure to Rome. Both our players were accompanied by coach Martin Olejnak.

Previously Prudel and Fijałek have been on a training camp on Fuerteventura. – we know the place very well. The conditions are excellent. We have spend two weeks on the island and came back on the 19th of March. The last few day we have spent in Poland. It is time for another training camp. We will return home for Easter – says Mariusz Prudel.

The first 2012 World Tour - Brasilia Open will be held on the 17th – 22nd of April. The second one is Silesia Open in Mysłowice. – We plan travel to Brazil, but it is not confirmed yet. Maybe we will get to Mysłowice a week earlier to train in their halls – said Mariusz Prudel.
