Next weekend four Polish pairs will take part in the first phase of qualifications to the Olympic Games-London 2012.
Continental tournament with participation of the Polish National Team will be held in Ukraine.
Polish Team composition: Grzegorz Fijałek/Mariusz Prudel, Michał Kądzioła/Jakub Szałankiewicz, Katarzyna Urban/Joanna Wiatr, Monika Brzostek/Karolina Sowała.
Poland is in group E together among Czech Republic, Ukraine and Croatia. In Europe we have 7 groups more, except Poland. The three first countries from each group will be promoted to the next phase of the next years’ continental qualifications.
On Friday evening in Ukraine “technical meeting” will be organized. Afterwards, Poland will find out who will be its rival for the semi-final match. According to the current ranking of the European Volleyball Federation (CEV), the most probable is Croatia.
