- Volleyball in Poland stands on a high level. Organization of the events is also professional. Fans are very engaged in support of the team. I have seen 14-15 thousand spectators on tribunes in Łódź! It would be hard to do in my country. Poles are interested in volleyball. They are ready to pay a lot of money for the tickets to see their idols. I do not even understand why do people love volleyball here so much – said surprised Władysław Babiczew.

Libero of Zenit is trying to find out an answer for this phenomenon. – I think it is about mentality of the polish fans. They come to see the match and have a relax time. They enjoy it – says Babiczew.

Władysław Babiczew noticed that fans sing, Dance and do the ‘mexican wave’ at the matches. – In Turkey the atmosphere is completely different. At the last match of Lokomotiw Nowosybirsk (lost with Arkas Izmir and was eliminatek from the Champions League) fans did their job. They had arrogant attitude towards the opponent team – said Władysław Babiczew in one of the interviews.
