Editors of weekly magazine „Wprost” honored Polish Volleyball Federation for the most interesting project of Corporate Social Responsibility. Polish Volleyball Federation’s Program of School Volleyball Centers is carried out jointly with the Ministry of Sports. Our program was awarded during gala, on 22nd February 2013 in Warsaw. On behalf of Polish Volleyball Federation the award received Witold Roman, PVF’s Vice President for Training.

Editors of weekly magazine „Wprost” honored Polish Volleyball Federation for the most interesting project of Corporate Social Responsibility.  Polish Volleyball Federation’s Program of School Volleyball Centers  is carried out jointly with the Ministry of Sports. Our program was awarded during gala, on 22nd February 2013 in Warsaw. On behalf of Polish Volleyball Federation the award received Witold Roman, PVF’s Vice President for Training.

The success of the School Volleyball Centers, initiated in September 2012 in 128 schools across the country is testified by the number of children and young people who have signed up to the project. Remind that in March moves another "Action calls” for a volleyball classes. To continue the project, it is necessary to re-support of the Ministry of Sport and Tourism.

Schools Volleyball Centers are the pioneering and innovative project in the country and a joint initiative of the Ministry of Sport and Tourism and the Polish Volleyball Federation. Both institutions received for the implementation and realization of the project award "Best Business Partner" of economic magazine "Home & Market". Project as an example of successful cooperation in the field of corporate social responsibility is now also honored in a special supplement of weekly "Wprost". According to experts, established the project of School Volleyball Centers operate in 96 secondary schools and in 32 high schools in allover the Poland, have shown that this structure allows for the proper implementation of the promoting volleyball in the whole country.

- Launched on 1st  September 2012 program is a long-term project, hence the Federation deems it necessary to continue in 2013 and beyond. The need to continue this public task is associated with both long-term program of promoting volleyball among children and youth and the need to standardize training systems, to emerge new talents as well as to create an equal opportunities for children from different Polish regions - says Waldemar Wspanialy, head of the project.

According to Waldemar Wspanialy, in 2013 there will be significant increase of participants. - It is planned to carry out in the next school year, 310 classes of volleyball, in which 4,600 children will be studying and ultimately in year 2014 - 5760 volleyball students - highlights Waldemar Wspanialy, head of the project.
