Kołosińska and Brzostek have a chance to gain promotion to the Olympic Games in London. The qualification can base either on the FIVB world ranking, or the victory at the continental cup. The first option seems to be more difficult, however, the victory at the second option remain possible.

From this season the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) changed the regulations concerning the obligatory outfit for players. So far, the players have been allowed to play in one-piece costume, or bikini. The FIVB extended possibilities for the choice of the outfits. Now the beach volleyball players can wear longer shorts (maximum 3cm above the knees), and the t-shirts with or without straps.

The International Volleyball Federation motivated its decision with respect to cultural and religious traditions.

The polish women’s beach volleyball national team will not change the previous outfit. Girls will play in bikini.
