The two polish team gained promotion to the 2nd round of the Champions’ League playoff phase.

The two polish team gained promotion to the 2nd round of the Champions’ League playoff phase. Jastrzębski Węgiel had its day on Tuesday and PGE Skra Bełchatów on Wednesday. During the revenge in Łódź, the Champion of Poland defeated Knack Randstad Roeselare 3:0 (25:21, 25:17, 25:15). The first match was won by Belgium team 3:1. In the “gold set” the team from Bełchatów proved to be better 15:12 and promoted to the top 6 teams in Europe.  
The leading European clubs and PGE Skra and Jastrzębski Węgiel were accompanied by- Dynamo Moskwa, Zenit Kazań, Bre Banca Lannutti Cuneo and Noliko Maaseik. These facts show that our League becomes stronger. PlusLiga’s competition in the Champions’ League is equal to the level of Superleague and Serie A. In order to find oneself among the group of the best many excellent teams had to be eliminated-said Ryszrd Bosek, Champion of the Olympic Games.
