Michał Kądzioła and Jakub Szałankiewicz together with their coach, Sławomir Robert, flew to Tenerife on Thursday, where they will prepare themselves to the season, for the next week and a half.

-We go to Tenerife on another training camp. We will be able to train in good conditions. We want to focus on practicing some technical elements. Joint trainings and sparing matches with strong pairs from Austria, Spain and Russia will be performed-said the coach.

Michał Kądzioła and Jakub Szałankiewicz were in Poland for a short period of time. On Sunday, in Anapa (Russia), the players won the second place in the beach volleyball CEV Satellite Tournament, titled “Russian Winter”.  –We treated our performance in Anapa as a phase of preparation to the season. First of all, we wanted to practice with rivals who use technique of a high block and an aggressive attack-said the polish coach.

This year, Brasilia Open will be the first tournament from the World Tour series. It will be held in term 17th – 23rd of April. A tough game for the FIVB ranking points will begin from the very beginning-qualifications to the Olympic Games will be based on this ranking. No one will slow down, the same refer to us. From Brazil we will go to China to participate in the following tournament-added the coach, Sławomir Robert.

Furthermore, at the moment Grzegorz Fijałek and Mariusz Prudel are training on Fuerteventura. Till the 12th of March they will prepare to the season, with one of the top German pairs inter alia.
