At the semifinal of the Championships of Turkey, Vakifbank playing with Małgorzata Glinka-Mogentale, unexpectedly defeated the winners of this year’s Champions’ League - Fenerbace Stambul. During the second semifinal Eczacibasi Stambul triumphed over the winners of the silver medal of the CEV Cup - Galatasaray Stambul.
At the final matches of the Championships of Turkey the Eczasibasi Stambul occurred to be a better team. Both matches finished with tie-break. Małgorzata Glinka – Mogentale was the MVP of the tournament. At the first match she gained 25 points and 22 in the second one.
