The teams, including UKS Jedynka Aleksandrów Łódzki (group 1), MMKS Gaudia Budmel Trzebnica (2), LTS Legionovia Legionowo (3) and BKS Szóstka Biłgoraj (4) are considered the favorites of the women’s 2nd league tournament. After the matches summarizing the round robin performed until now, it is yet hard to choose equally strong opponent for the favorite teams mentioned above.
Legionovia with Wojciech Lalka as a coach did not lose a match in its group. For the moment, it has only lost the two sets and in the next matches of the round robin the team will face ŁMLKS Łask to fight for crucial points. –We will go on court with the strongest composition of the team, without testing any young players or practicing particular elements of the game. I realize a lot of spectators will come to see the match and observe the best condition of their favorite volleyball players-said the coach, Wojciech Lalek.
During the playoff round Legionovia will play against E.Leclerc Orzeł Elbląg and AZS KŚ Politechnika Radomska will fight against BAS AZS Politechnika Warszawska. Legionovia’s players are definitely favorites. Who will win in the secondo pair? –Previously one could designate the team from Radom, several matches' winner. However, it actually lost with Ostrołęka, therefore, I will not designate anybody-said Wojciech Lalek.
In March, the playoff chase begins. The teams will have some time to rest. On the 5th of March UKS Jedynka Aleksandrów Łódzki will come to Legionowo. In February, both teams were having sparring matches in Aleksandrów. Lalka’s team won 3:0 (25:18, 25:16, 25:15). – The team did well, certainly we were satisfied with the result of the game. We were surprised how easy the success has come, but it is not our problem – admitted Legionovia’s coach. When the two additional matches were performed in Aleksandrów, coach Lalek gave all the players opportunity to play. The final result was 1:1 (20:25 i 28:26).
As soon as the playoff phase will come to an end, the best teams will fight for promotion to the 1st league. –Surely, we would like to organize this tournament, but first we have to get there-summarized Legionovia’s coach
