Yesterday Jakub Szałankiewicz and Michał Kądzioła returned from California, where they have been training for five days with the World Champions, Julius Brinek and Jonas Reckermann. – A short sport camp fulfilled its goal. There was opportunity to have trainings with the highest-level professionalists, focusing on every detail. The trainings mobilized us to perform much more effort-said coach Sławomir Robert.

Yesterday Jakub Szałankiewicz and Michał Kądzioła returned from California, where they have been training for five days with the World Champions, Julius Brinek and Jonas Reckermann. – A short sport camp fulfilled its goal. There was opportunity to have trainings with the highest-level professionalists, focusing on every detail.  The trainings mobilized us to perform much more effort-said coach Sławomir Robert.

In the meantime, Grzegorz Fijałek and Mariusz Prudel practiced their form in the Sport Center in Łódź. Let’s remind in 2010, the duet made a significant achievement in the history of the polish beach volleyball. In Marseille, for the first time they managed to reach the World Tour podium.

At Brasilia Open,  Fijałek and Prudel will play in the main tournament. Kądzioła and Szałankiewicz have to go through difficult eliminations. – In the last days before the tournament, access to the courts in Brazil will be very limited. Therefore, just like many other pairs from all over the world, first we go to Rio de Janeiro, to practice – says the coach Sławomir Robert.

Women’s Brasilia Open will per form in term 17th - 22nd  of April, and Men’s in term 18th-23rd of April. – After the tournament we go back to the country. Probably, most time of the Easter we will have to spent on the plain and at the airports. We will arrive home on the Easter’s Monday– adds coach of the polish men’s beach volleyball team.

On the 25th of July in Marseille, Grzegorz Fijałek and Mariusz Prudel for the first time in the history of the polish Beach volleyball reached the World Tour podium. In the 3rd place match they defeated Austria, Gosch and Horst 2:0 (22:20, 21:17). In the semifinal polish team lost with later winners from China, Wu and Xu 1:2 (21:19, 16:21, 13:15).
