Two days later (17th of April) the tournament for men begins. Poland will be represented by two pairs. Piotr Kantor and Bartosz Łosiak, as well as Michał Kądzioła and Jakub Szałankiewicz who also fight for 'passport to London Olympic games'. The first pair will participate in qualifications, whereas Kądzioła and Szałankiewicz, thanks to big number of points gained (1042) will take part in the main tournament, without qualifications. Both man’s pairs are in Rio de Janeiro since the 10th of April and practice their skills and physical condition on Ipanema beach, being continuation of Copacabana beach.

Our best pair, Grzegorz Fijałek and Mariusz Prudel, will not travel to Brazil because of the training in Vienna. They will perform several friendly matches and return to Poland on the 21st of April.
