Yesterday the 18th edition of the Kinder + Sport tournament took place. The 143 teams have competed in the final in Zabrze. Special quests of the competition were: Sebastian Świderski, Piotr Gruszka and Paweł Woicki.
This year the finals have been scheduled a little earlier, just for test. Despite the regular date of the first weekend of September, the best young players in mini volleyball arrived to Zabrze at the beginning of July.
After two days of the competition the winners have been emerged. In the youngest category of ‘pairs’ the best teams were UKS Czwórka Aleksandrów Łódzki (girls) and AKS Rzeszów (boys). In ‘groups of three’ the winners were: MUKS Trzynastka Radom (girls) and UKS Jasieniak Gdańsk (boys). In the oldest category ‘groups of four’ first places have been taken by: UKS Rosario Lubowidz (girld) and SP56 Wifama Łódź (boys).
This year, the award for the top ranked teams is the departure for Memorial of Hubert Jerzy Wagner, which will be held in Zielona Góra. Young volleyball players will meet there with the polish senior men’s national team. During the travel youngest players will be accompanied by Sebastian Świderski.
