- Youth (Men) ECH: Poland returns home
Translation: Karolina Piotrowska, 21 April 2011
After the Wednesday’s failure 1:3 with Bulgaria, there were still small chances for the white-and-reds to promote to the top eight of the tournament. However, after loss of Germany with Turkey (1:3) we lost the chance to fight for places 5-8. Thursday’s match with Germany will only be opportunity to win another match in Ankara. This is not the first time when Poland did not qualify to the top eight of the tournament, as it happened during the Youth (Men) ECH in 1995, but because of the weak performance of Turkey, also they will not participate in the World Championships in Argentina, in August.
