On Wednesday on the Monta Beach Volley Club area a press conference devoted to World gameses was held Tour in the beach volleyball which this year will come to the capital city. A special guest graced the meeting - Wilfredo Leon - the this year's league champion of Champions and the future member of a Polish indoor volleyball national team.

Four principal courts and main stadium with capacity of 3200 seats, over 4000 kg of sand and 128 best pairs of beach volleyball – that is just a part of what will happen in Warsaw from June 27th until July 1st. Wilfredo Leon has already announced his attendance as a spectator. The Cuban with the Polish passport was a special guest of the Tuesday's conference where participated as well: Jacek Kasprzyk – President of Polish Volleyball Federation, Angelo Squeo – FIVB New Events Business Director, Janusz Samel – Director of Sport and Recreation Department City of Warsaw and Piotr Kamiński – Tournament Director World Tour Warsaw 2018.

Jacek Kasprzyk: I feel grateful to the FIVB for their trust and to the city representatives and Monta Beach Volley Club for their help and willing of cooperation. I am sure it's gonna be a great event with a supportive audience. This season is extremely important for us. Especially when Piotr Kantor and Bartosz Łosiak are located on the second place in World Tour ranking. I hope other Polish pairs will be as succesfull as they are.

Angelo Squeo: World Tour tournament in Warsaw is fitting very well to FIVB strategy of organising such events in big cities. I know that volleyball in Poland is one of the most important disciplines as well as football or ski jumping. That's why it's the best place to make volleyball more popular all over the world. In Poland were helded 17 men's beach volleyball tournaments and 14 women's tournaments as well as World Championships 2013 in Stare Jablonki and those in the youth categories. I am sure that organising such an event in Poland, not only quarantees high level organisation but big emotions and competition as well. I hope it won't be the last beach volleyball event organised in Poland.

Janusz Samel: World Tour Warsaw 2018 should encourage Varsovians to many activities and spending time at Vistula's boulevards. It will be a very important event to our city.

Piotr Kaminski: My dream is to make Warsaw an European capital of beach disciplines. We plan to build a stadium with capacity of 3200 seats to make it as much comfortable for the spectators as possible. There will be also a place to spend time for kids and all fans who will come to join us. Wolrd Tour tournament will be held on the area of 800 square metres. Organisation demands a lot of work, but we trust it will be great level event.

Wilfredo Leon: I haven't played beach volleyball a lot, but I really like to watch all competitions. I am very happy that such an important event will be held in Warsaw. That will help a lot that discipline to develop. I'm going to visit Monta Beach Volley Club during that event with my family.
