Poland lost to Italy 1:3 (25:23, 15:25, 23:25, 17:25) on the last day of the World Grand Prix in Ningbo. Coach Jerzy Matlak’s team finished the competition with one win over Japan.

Poland lost to Italy 1:3 (25:23, 15:25, 23:25, 17:25) on the last day of the World Grand Prix in Ningbo. Coach Jerzy Matlak’s team finished the competition with one win over Japan.

The USA team, which beat Japan 3:0 (26:24, 25:20, 25:23) on Sunday, took the first spot at the 2010 World Grand Prix. In the last match China lost to Brazil 0:3 (12:25, 16:25, 15:25).

The final order: 1. The USA, 2. Brazil, 3. Italy, 4. China, 5. Japan, 6. Poland, 7. The Netherlands, 8. The Dominican Republic, 9. Germany, 10. Taiwan, 11. Puerto Rico.

It was Poland’s second final tournament at the World Grand Prix. The team was also sixth in 2007. Poland’s debut in the tournament was in 2004 after winning gold at the European Championship in 2003.
