- WGP Final Tournament without Poland

Poland lost in Hong Kong with China 0:3 (20:25, 17:25, 22:25) in the last match of the group phase of the World Grand Prix tournament.
In Hong Kong polish volleyball players after victory over Kazakhstan lost with Dominican Republic and China. Alojzy Świderk’s team won four matches (twice with Argentina and once with Cuba and Kazakhstan) and lost five times (twice with Dominican Republic, once with Italy, South Korea and China). The team is ranked 10th with 13 points. Eight best teams will play next week in the final of the WGP tournament.
Poland: Podolec (6), Kosek (11), Okuniewska (7), Kaczorowska (2), Wołosz (2) , Kwiatkowska (12), Maj (l) and Konieczna (1), Radecka (1), Kruk (4), Saad, Pelc.
China: Wang (15), Jie Yang (7), Hui (14), Wei (2), Ma (9), Junjing Yang (10), Shan (l) and Chen.
