Junior national teams will also face significant events this summer. Both our national teams will perform at the European Championships’ final.

For senior national teams in volleyball, the most important event of the year are the forthcoming XXX Summer Olympic Games, to be held from the 27th of July in London. However,  junior national team will also face significant events this summer. Both our national teams will perform at the European Championships’ final. Junior (girls) in play in Ankara (18th -26th of August), and junior (boys) will play – in term 24th of August – 2nd of September in Denmark and Poland.

The eliminations phase (two groups composed of 6 teams each) will take place in Denmark (Randers) and in Poland (Gdynia). The second phase of the tournament (quarterfinals, semifinals and final) – in Gdynia. We already know final ‘12’ to compete for the title of the best junior team of the Old Continent. In Denmark and Poland we will see the following teams: Denmark, Poland (host team), Russia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece, Belgium, Spain, Turkey, Italy, Germany and Finland. Three last teams qualified to the tournament last weekend.

On the 19th of July in Warsaw, in Grand Mercure Hotel, Krucza street no. 28, at 14:00h the official drawing of lots ceremony for the Junior European Championships’ final will take place. The representatives of the European Volleyball Federation (CEV) and organizers – Polish Volleyball Federation (PZPS) and the Volleyball Federation of Denmark (DVF) will participate in the ceremony.
