Kantor and Łosiak's Czech streak with variable luck

Piotr Kantor and Bartosz Łosiak in the group phase of the World Tour Warsaw faced two Czech duos. In the first encounter they won with Bercik/Dumek, in the second they were defeated by Perusic/Schweiner.

Kantor and Łosiak have currently luck to Czech. On Sunday they were on podium in Ostrava at the four star World Tour event and in Warsaw they won with Czech duo at the tournament on the same level. In their first encounter on Thursday they defeated Bercik/Dumek 2:0 (21:16, 21:16). However, as they emphasized the result might be illusive - Looking at score, someone might have an impression that it was an easy match, but many simple mistakes happened to us. We lost around 10 points by our wrong service - said Łosiak. - In World Tour events when you don't serve, you won't win. It's the most important element of the action, therefore we always risk with serve, because we are aware that this wat we can keep opponents far from the net and then we can accomplish more - added Kantor.

They both arrived to Warsaw in late evening on Tuesday. They didn't have opportunity at central court, where they played on Thursday. - Therefore I didn't expect any revelations in our game. We are not very tired, because we used to travel a lot, because every week we travel from one tournament to another. We feel a bit all hard encounters from Ostrava in our bones, but we don't care about it - said Łosiak.
