Polish junior men’s national team has gained 6th place at the European Championships. Several players of Jacek Nawrocki and Maciej Zendeł will be seen at the PlusLeague and I League tournaments. - Marcin Janusz and Kacper Piechocki are in the composition of the team Wkręt-met AZS Częstochowa, whereas Jakub Woś represents Asseco Resovia Rzeszów. This solution is a good idea. Now the most important aspect is to make all of the players work as much as it is possible – said Maciej Zendeł.

- We do not take players to make them sit on a bench, but we sign contracts to make them play. I do not like theory that 18 years old player is too young, therefore we should hide him in the second league. He should try himself and compete with the best ones – says Olympic and world champion, sport director of Częstochowa’s club Ryszard Bosek.

Ryszard Bosek says that for Janusz and Piechocki playing in PlusLeague ‘will be like touching hot iron’. – They have to adapt and use their skills. In the club in Częstochowa they will undergo the baptism of fire. Let’s not bring young players from abroad, but give a chance to ours polish juniors. We cooperate with PGE Skra Bełchatów, where they understand that it is worth to transfer the player to another club if one is not able to use his/her skills – said Ryszard Bosek.

Janusz and Piechocki play in Częstochowa. The top player of the I league club, Cuprum Lubin, became Łukasz Łapszyński. Jakub Wachnik will play in RCS Czarni Radom. Piotr Orczyk will continua his career in Jaworzno.

The team from Dolny Śląsk has its goal to promote to the PlusLeague. – Łapszyński, Wachnik and Orczyk are very talented. They already have great skills so if they manage to get to the top league after only one season, it would be great. The most important is to make the young player practice as much as possible – adds the Olympic and world champion.

In season 2012/13 in Young League for the first time we will see the SMS PZPS Spała. Maciej Zendeł is the coach of the team. – Players from 3rd class and some younger ones will participate in the tournament. The start in Young League of Spała’s team is a good idea. Players from the school will have many opportunities to perform in front of the coaches from the top league. Someone may see their potential – says Maciej Zendeł.
