The Canadians triumphed at the 2018 World Tour Warsaw. Brazilians feel at home in Poland

The Canadian duo Brandie Wilkerson and Heather Bransley celebrated a final victory at the World Tour Warsaw after defeating the German team Sude/Laboureur. Bronze goes to the Brazilian pair Agatha/Duda.

Brandie Wilkerson (Canada): It's an amazing experience, we are so happy that our hard work on and off court is really shown and we were really fighting for every point, keeping head down and we finally win! We had to win this game, fairy-tale ending!

Heather Bansley (Canada): I'm really proud of our team and of how we are getting better and better. We were struggling with the wind on the court and today we really had to focus on each single point at the time to not get caught up. We are hoping to come back here next year, it's our favourite tournament now.

Agatha Bednarczuk (Brazil): Last year in Olsztyn we were third and now we are third again. We are happy about it, because it's difficult to stay on podium, especially that there is more and more good teams in the world. We have a great support from Polish fans, maybe because of our names, because they are like the name of the Polish First Lady. My great grandfather emigrated from Poland to Brazil, therefore I have a name which sounds Polish. I feel great here!
