Sign up for 2018 International Veteran Volleyball Tournament!

After the successful premiere celebrated earlier this year, the organisers of the International Veteran Volleyball Tournament invite players and teams from all over the world to participate in the 2018 edition of the competition, which will take place from June 21 to 24 in Ostrava. 

The International Veteran Volleyball Association (IVVA) will once again host the event in cooperation with the Czech Volleyball Federation and the Middle European Volleyball Zonal Association (MEVZA). 

As many as 26 teams from 10 different European countries participated in the inaugural tournament. As for 2018, the organisers are expecting the interest to be even bigger and hoping for participation of teams representing countries from all over the world. Teams can compete in one of the following age categories: 

Men: 40-47, 48-55, 56+
Women: 35-45, 46+

“We are providing you and your team the opportunity to test your skills and compete against other Volleyball “veterans” from all over the world,” says IVVA Vice President and former Beach Volleyball star, Premysl Kubala, a bronze medallist from the Baku 2015 European Games together with Jan Hadrava. “We have designed this tournament for former professional Volleyball players as well as for amateurs for whom Volleyball is simply a passion. Do not miss your chance to come to Ostrava for this great sporting event!”
