For the first time, Polish Senior Women’s National Team will play at the international tournament for the Cup of Jelcyn, in term 5th -10th of July in Jekaterynburg.

For the first time, Polish Senior Women’s National Team will play at the international tournament for the Cup of Jelcyn, in term 5th -10th of July in Jekaterynburg. The rivals of the white-and-reds in group A will be the teams from Brazil and the Netherlands. Whereas, in group B we will see Russia, Ukraine and China.

Coach of the national team, Jerzy Matlak, announced the names of twenty players of the Polish National Team, from which he will later choose representatives for the Cup of Jelcyn. – The first training camp will start on the 24th of June in Szczyrk and we will train there until the departure. Because of the private and health reasons, the following players are not on the list of the players chosen for the Cup of Jelcyn: Joanna Kaczor, Katarzyna Gajgał and Natalia Bamber. They will join the team later – said the coach Jerzy Matlak. On the 15th of July the team will again meet in Szczyrk, on a two-week camp to play the sparing matches against Japan.
