The host cities of the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship Poland 2014 are preparing a great event for children and youth. Warsaw, Wrocław, Katowice, Kraków, Gdańsk, Łódź and Bydgoszcz will host a Mini Volleyball World Championship.

The host cities of the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship Poland 2014 are preparing a great event for children and youth. Warsaw, Wrocław, Katowice, Kraków, Gdańsk, Łódź and Bydgoszcz will host a Mini Volleyball World Championship.

Dates and venues are as follows:

Warsaw, August 30 sierpnia, by the National Stadium

Gdańsk, September 1-7, by the Ergo Arena

Wrocław, September 8-9, by the Centennial Hall (Hala Stulecia)

Łódź, September 12-14, at Piotrowska Street

Bydgoszcz, September 8-9, Zawisza Stadium

Kraków, September 5-7, by the Kraków Arena

Katowice, September 1-21, by the Spodek

 

School students who wish to participate in the tournament can contact their Voivodeship Volleyball Federations. The competition system in each city will be adjusted to fit the number of teams. Participants will have a chance to meet the World Championship players and other prominent figures, who had already confirmed their attendance at the events.

A trophy and a title of the Mini World Champions await the winners. Young volleyball players will have a chance to feel like the participants of the real FIVB World Champs, as their matches will be played in the same days as the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship Poland 2014.

The aim of the Mini World Championship is not only to promote the seniors’ competition, but first and foremost to popularize volleyball and sportsmanship among youth and children. We invite everyone to take part in this event, which will surely create many great memories.
