The following representatives were present on the ceremony: CEV Vice-President Philip Berben, President of the Danish Volleyball Federation Erik Jacobsen and President of the Polish Volleyball Federation Mirosław Przedpełski.

- We are at the stadium where the final of the next year’s European Championships, organized by Denmark and Poland, will be held – Said the CEV Vice-President Philip Berben.

- All the preparations are going in the right direction and I am sure that the tournament will finish with great organizational success of both federations. I wish all the teams a good luck.

Group A, Odense

Denmark, Italy, Belarus, Greece/Belgium

Group B, Gdańsk

Poland, Slovakia, France, Turkey/Latvia

Group C, Herning

Finland, Serbia, the Netherland, Croatia/Slovenia

Group D, Gdynia

Russia, Bulgaria, Germany, Czech Republic

Three of the next year’s participants will promote from the play offs.

- Our group is very interesting – said coach of the polish national team Andrea Anastasi. However, the real fight will start in quarterfinals. We will do our best to play here on the stadium in Copenhagen.

- Once should not say it is an easy group – said President of the PVF Mirosław Przedpełski. – Every match should be carefully analyzed and seriously treated. Let us remember that in the European Championships in Izmir, although everyone said we were the weakest group, we managed to face France in the very final. Even though the beginning of the tournament would seem not so difficult, the later phases are going to be very difficult. We have to win in our not to face Russia in the quarterfinal, which should win in its group.
