National Team of Brazil defeated Cuba and for the third time in a row won the title of World Champion. Consequently, their dominance in the world volleyball was confirmed.

National Team of Brazil defeated Cuba and for the third time in a row won the title of World Champion.  Consequently, their dominance in the world volleyball was confirmed. Brazilians wanted to compensate fans and spectators for the match intentionally lost. One could see that “Canarinhos’“ pride was irritated and the players themselves did not feel comfortable not playing according to the fair-play rules. Therefore, Brazil wanted to prove everyone being world’s best team, as well as confirm that the match intentionally lost had no significance.
