Wagner’s Memorial: we already know all participants

The National Team of Italy joined four participants of the IX Huber Jerzy Wagner’s Memorial, to be performed in term 26th-28th of August in “Spodek” Katowice hall - informed the organizers of the event. Earlier the national teams of Czech Republic, Poland and Russia have confirmed their participation in the tournament.

The National Team of Italy joined four participants of the IX Huber Jerzy Wagner’s Memorial, to be performed in term 26^th-28^th of August in “Spodek” Katowice hall - informed the organizers of the event. Earlier the national teams of Czech Republic, Poland and Russia have confirmed their participation in the tournament.   

In 2010 the national team of Italy was ranked fourth during the last year’s World Championships. Andrea Anastasi was their coach. At the moment, he is training the national team of white-and reds. The tournament in Katowice will be the last test of form for his present team, before its performance at the European Championships in September, group C, together with Belgium, Finland and France.

For the first time the Memorial of Wagner will take place in “Spodek” hall. Furthermore, World League Finals will be the second large event, to be organized in Poland this year. It will be held between 6^th – 10^th of July, in “Ergo Arena” on the border of Gdańsk and Sopot.
