Stephane Antiga – new head coach of Polish National Team

On 26th October, Stephane Antiga - new head coach of Polish National Team has been presented to the Volleyball World in Volley Bajka restaurant. In addition to a new coach - in the conference took part the President of the Polish Volleyball Federation, Miroslaw Przedpełski, Secretary General Andrzej Lemek and a Press Office of the Polish national team, Mariusz Szyszko.

On 26th October, Stephane Antiga - new head coach of Polish National Team has been presented to the Volleyball World in Volley Bajka restaurant. In addition to a new coach - in the conference took part the President of the Polish Volleyball Federation, Miroslaw Przedpełski, Secretary General Andrzej Lemek and a Press Office of the Polish national team, Mariusz Szyszko. 

- We meet today in a unique position. I did not expect that our discussion and proposal for the new coach of the Polish Team will meet such enormous media interest. I think it bodes very well, we try to introduce something new. I think this idea, which I called "plan Antiga" will be successful. In my opinion, this idea is perfect for this, so the whole volleyball environment - from the players, by coaches, clubs and competition organizers - has put all hands on deck, which will make the result of the upcoming World Championship will be the best - said at the beginning of the meeting with journalists Miroslaw Przedpełski, President of the Polish Volleyball Federation - The contract was signed for three years. Key points of our contract have already been discussed. Now, we only have to focus on the small details, which can last for couple days. 

-Working with the Polish National Team is a honor. The role of the coach is a something new to me. I think that for you all it was a huge surprise, but I'm very pleased. There is a lot of hard work in the front of us, the qualifiers for the European Championships and the World Championships , which will take place in Poland, are approaching. My job will be to create a solid group composed of the best players, which I will have at disposal. In the team the most important things are: the mutual respect, trust, communication, and above all, a hard work - said the new National Team coach, Stephane Antiga. 

During press conference, the President of Polish Volleyball Federation, Mr. Miroslaw Przedpełski, gave to the new head coach special Polish National Team shirt with the inscription "Antiga coach". 

By the end of the current league season Stephane Antiga will be a player of the club from Belchatow. As a coach of the Polish National Team he will turn many colleagues on his players. - It will be the unusual situation. However, I on the court I will be coach in one hundred percent. I think this may be an additional motivation for the Polish players. For  colleagues from my current club - PGE Skra - it was a huge surprise  - finished Antiga .
