From Friday to Sunday tweleve teams divided into three groups were fighting for promotion to the second round of the Qualification Tournament for 2015 CEV Volleyball European Championship Men.

From Friday to Sunday tweleve teams divided into three groups were fighting for promotion to the second round of the Qualification Tournament for 2015 CEV Volleyball European Championship Men. 

In the Strimica Park in the group C played: Macedonia (torunament host), Georgia, Azerbijan and Sweden. Then in the group A played in Luxembourg were: Luxembourg, Moldova, Lithuania and Istael. In the group B: Hungary, Switzerland and Bosnia and Herzegovina were playing in Hungary. 

A programme and results of the group C tournament in Strimica Park: 

9th of May:

Georgia – Sweden 0:3 (19:25, 9:25, 13:25)

Mecedonia – Azerbijan (25:15, 25:17, 25:15)

 

10th of May:

Sweden – Azerbijan 3:0 (25:16, 25:15, 25:17)

Georgia – Macedonia 0:3 (13:25, 12:25, 14:25)

 

11th of May:

Azerbijan – Georgia 3:0 (25:21, 25:12, 25:20)

Sweden – Macedonia (29:31, 25:25, 19:25, 22:25)

 

 

Final classification:

1.Macedonia – 9 points – 9-1

2.Sweden – 6 points – 7-3

3.Azerbijan – 3 points – 3-6

4.Georgia – 0 points – 0-9

 

Macedonia won the competition in the third group the first round of the qualifications and in the second round they will play in Wroclaw (16th - 18th of May) and Ljubljana (23rd - 25th of May) against Poland, Slovenia and Latvia. 

In the second round Poland play in the Centennial Hall in Wroclaw (16th - 18th of May) against Slovenia, Latvia and Macedonia.
