Financial prizes at World Championships

According to the decision of the authorities of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) for the first time in history during this year’s Senior World Championships, held between 23rd of September -10th of October in Italy, the best teams of the tournament will be awarded with financial prizes.

According to the decision of the authorities of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) for the first time in history during this year’s Senior World Championships, held between 23rd of September -10th of October in Italy, the best teams of the tournament will be awarded with financial prizes.    

The Winner will receive 150 thousand USD, Word Vice-champion 100 thousand USD and the team ranked third will share 50 thousand USD.
 
Furthermore, the financial prizes will be also given to the best players of the Championships.
 
MVP – 30 thousand USD
Best scorer – 20 thousand USD
Best setter – 15 thousand USD
Best server – 15 thousand USD
Best spiker – 15 thousand USD
Best blocker – 15 thousand USD
Best libero - 15 thousand USD
