Composition of the Polish Senior Men’s National Team for the WL and season 2011

Andrea Anastasi announced the list of 25 players appointed to the National Team for the World League tournament. The coach of the Polish Senior Men’s National Team has also given composition for the season 2011.

Between 6^th – 10^th of July, at the border of the cities Gdańsk and Sopot, in Ergo Arena hall the World League Final will be performed, with participation of the eight teams, including Poland as a host team.
 
25-person National Team for the World League:

Setters: Fabian Drzyzga (Tytan AZS Częstochowa), Grzegorz Łomacz (Jastrzębski Węgiel), Paweł Woicki (PGE Skra Bełchatów), Łukasz Żygadło (Trentino BetClic)

Spikers: Marcel Gromadowski (Indykpol AZS UWM Olsztyn), Bartosz Janeczek (Tytan AZS Częstochowa), Jakub Jarosz (ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle), Piotr Gruszka

Till the 4^th of May, coach Anastasi will have to specify 20 names of the players from the above list, who will be appointed for the World League tournament. This season Piotr Gruszka has been playing for Halkbank Ankara, but in the same period of time he terminated the contract.

The coach of the Polish Senior Men’s National Team has also given composition of the national team for the season 2011, enriched with the following names, apart from the ones already mentioned above: Dawid Konarski (Delecta Bydgoszcz), Daniel Pliński (PGE Skra Bełchatów), Michał Winiarski (PGE Skra Bełchatów), Mariusz Wlazły (PGE Skra Bełchatów) and Paweł Zagumny (ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle).
