After four tournaments of the World League in Toronto, Katowice, Sao Bernardo Campo and Tampere, Polish national team took first place of the group and ranked before Brazil, Canada and Finland.

After four tournaments of the World League in Toronto, Katowice, Sao Bernardo Campo and Tampere, Polish national team took first place of the group and ranked before Brazil, Canada and Finland. Consequently, the team of coach Anastasi promoted to the Final Six of the World League, which will be held in term 4th – 8th of July in Sofia.

After their return from Finland, the white-and-reds took several days off. On the 22nd of June, in the evening, the team gathered in Spała, to start the training.  – Since Saturday we train very hard – said chief of the polish national team, Andrzej Wołkowycki.  – There are no major complaints in the team.  

Everyone is in the fighting mood before the final World League tournament. Now we have to prepare ourselves as good as possible, to fight for main trophies in Sofia.

Our players train very hard and media are very interested with their activities. Everyday polish national team is being visited by media representatives. – On Saturday, we visited Dzień Dobry TVN, on Sunday the biggest Brazilian tv - GLOBO, whereas today Polsat Sport – says Andrzej Wołkowycki.

In Spała our players will train till the 1st of July. After the morning Sunday training the white-and-reds will travel to Warsaw, from where they depart to Sofia on Monday at 11:00h. The Final Six in Bulgaria will start on the 4th of July.

After the end of the World League Polish team will have three days off and on the 12th of July they will meet again in Zielona Góra, to prepare for Memorial of Hubert Wagner (20th -22nd of July). At the 10th edition of the tournament, except the host team, we will see the national teams of Argentina, Iran and Germany.

On the 24th of July, Polish national team departs to London, to participate in the Olympic games three days later. The team senior men’s tournament starts on the 29th of July – 6th of August. Two days later the quarterfinal will be held. Semifinals have been scheduled on the 10th of August and the final on the 12th of August – the last day of the event.
