Poland, Iran and Argentina will play at this year’s edition of Hubert Wagner Memorial – informed director of the tournament, Jerzy Mróz.

- the next team which confirmed its participation at the tournament is Argentina. Let’s remind that the team of the coach Javier Weber promoted to the Olympic games tournament in London – said Jerzy Mróz.

The fourth participant who will play at the 10 edition of the tournament is going to be probably one of the following teams - Bulgaria, China, Cuba or Germany. – All four teams would like to play. We are waiting for result of the Olympic games qualifications – said Jerzy Mróz.

- It seems like it is going to be a very interesting tournament and a good exam for the Polish national team, before the Olympic games in London – says chief of the training department of the Polish Volleyball Federation  Włodzimierz Sadalski. – Many young and skilled players are in composition of the team, including Luciano de Cecco. It is one of the most interesting players on his position, in the world. Argentina, which year before won the fourth place at the World League presents a good technical level of the game. Iran is a strong team. Our national team will have opportunity to check its skills when playing with particular teams.

In 2011 Memorial took place in Katowice and Italy was the Winner then. The participants of that tournament were: the Czech Republic, Poland and Russia. This year’s 10th edition of Memorial will take place on the 20th-22nd of July in Zielona Góra. The first Memorial of Hubert Jerzy Wagner took place in 2003, in Olsztyn. The Netherland took the first place of the tournament, before Poland and Spain.
