Anastasi: it was an excellent lesson of volleyball

Michał Bąkiewicz – I congratulate the victory to the American team. Today they played great tournament. In my opinion the crucial factor were serves and receiving. We can find one positive of the today’s match. We managed to recover from the difficult situation in the third set and played a match on equal level.

Ryan Millar (who replaced the best tired player of the match William Priddi) – We are very glad. I agree with Michał that serves and receiving decided about the match, but I would also add the block. I am glad we had a revenge for the yesterday’s match.

Andrea Anastasi – It was great lesson for us. Both for me and the whole team. We could see five Olympic medalists fighting for every ball. It was an excellent lesson of volleyball for us. At the matches against Brazil there will be no personal changes. I realize we will play with the best team of the world. We are preparing for the finale and the boys must gain more experience.

Alan Knipe – During the today’s match we had a lot of energy, therefore, we player much better then yesterday. This night I will sleep more calm that the previous one. The third set was good for both teams. It was a great volleyball show. We are thankful for accommodation and care received in Poland. We are glad to have possibility to play the match in such an atmosphere. You have amazing public.
