A warm welcome of Anastasi in Rzeszów

Coach of the Polish Senior Men’s National Team, Andrea Anastasi, had a warm welcome in Rzeszów “Podpromie” hall, during the CEV Cup semifinal match between Asseco Resovia and Sisley Treviso (2:3). After the match, Anastasi spent a lot of time talking to Giovanni Miale, athletic preparation specialist. -Visit of the new coach of the white-and-reds resulted in great interest while his stay in Rzeszów.

After the match, Anastasi spent a lot of time talking to Giovanni Miale, athletic preparation specialist.     
-Visit of the new coach of the white-and-reds resulted in great interest while his stay in Rzeszów. It was the first official visit performed on a volleyball match, after signing the contract. He experienced a warm welcome from the fans. Gave a few interview. As the coach has already mentioned previously, he likes talking to people. He had great opportunity to feel the atmosphere in Rzeszów’s hall. The local fans knows how to create an amazing atmosphere. After the match Andrea Anastasi talked to the Italian coach responsible for athletic preparation – said Włodzimierz Sadalski, Chief of the training department of the Polish Volleyball Federation.
One of the most popular team in the history of volleyball, Sisley Treviso, arrived to Rzeszów. –at the beginning the host team lead 1:0 and 2:1, but finally lost 2:3. They were better in both defense and block. The attack was on the side of Resovia. The setter from Sisley team caused many problems to the players from Rzeszów team, one had to be constantly focused on fast and precise balls he played – added Włodzimierz Sadalski. According to the Chief of the training department of the Polish Volleyball Federation, Asseco Resovia still has big chances to promote to the finals, “the only thing they should do is to play more effective in revenge, get to the gold set, when everything may happen”.
