Warsaw, Lodz, Bydgoszcz, Gdansk, Katowice and Wroclaw are going to host Intercontinental Round of 2013 FIVB World League. Teams will compete in new formula.

In Warsaw, Lodz, Bydgoszcz, Gdansk, Katowice and Wroclaw matches of Intercontinental Round will be played. With France and Bulgaria Poles will meet abroad.

In 2013 FIVB World League 18 teams are divided in three groups. To the Final Eight tournament three best teams from group A and B will be promoted, best from group C and the Organizer. Final will be played in term 16th – 21st July 2013.

- Team will compete in new formula which aims to attract this competition. In practice, each match in Intercontinental Round will be important. Now, in two groups we have strong teams. Competition between them should be very interesting. In third group we have teams which are knocking to the doors of volleyball elite – said Wlodzimierz Sadalski, Head of Training Department of Polish Volleyball Federation.

Matches of Polish team in our country promise to be very interesting. White and red’s will face Argentina, Brazil, USA and abroad France and Bulgaria. There will be no travelling to different continents.

Intercontinental Round starts on May 31st.
