- It was a very positive and necessary test. The match won with Russia could have been a decoration for many tournaments in this age category – said coach Wiesław Czaja. His team won in Friday-to-Sunday international tournament, held in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski. In the final ranking the white-and-reds overtook Russia, Czech Republic and team from School of Sport Championship in Spała.


Since 18th -22nd of December, polish youth men’s national team will have sparing matches in Austria. Then, the players will have several days off and immediately after Christmas they will leave on a training camp to Spała. Furthermore, the team will also travel to participate in the European Championships in Slovakia on the 2nd of January. The eliminations will be held in Nitra, where in term 3rd -7th of January, in group C, Poland will face Bulgaria, Slovakia, Israel, Portugal and England. Two teams will gain promotion to further phase. Youth ECH will take place in term 10th -22nd of April 2013, in Serbia.
