In 1995, the Youth (Men) European Championships have been organized in Barcelona. Since then, the event is being organized every two years. The Polish National Team has always been ranked in the first four, with the big gest number of medals in Europe – already six of them.

In 1995, the Youth (Men) European Championships have been organized in Barcelona. Since then, the event is being organized every two years. The Polish National Team has always been ranked in the first four, with the big gest number of medals in Europe – already six of them.
This time Poles will fight for the ECH medals in Turkey. – The process of preparations runs smoothly. We will spend 10 days Spała, where we will fokus to work on tactics. We depart to Ankara on the 14th of April – says the coach.

Before the sport camp in  Spała, Youth (Men) National Team played against – Asseco Resovia Rzeszów. The coaches agreed on playing five sets. The team from Rzeszów won the first match 3:2, but lost the second one 5:0. – I am glad because of the stay in Krosno - says the coach Zendeł.  What is the greatest advantage of our team? – I think that our serves. The technique of receiving also works well. Furthermore, my players cooperate and support each other.

The coach, Maciej Zendeł, did want to have Serbia, France and Russia in the group. France and Russia went to group A. Poland and Serbia are in group B. – I am most afraid of Serbia and Turkey in our group. It is always hard to play with the host team, but we will fight. We travel to Ankara for medals – assured Zendeł.

On the 10th of April the coach Maciej Zendeł will annonce the names of 12 players appointed for the ECH in Turkey.

Group A: France, Ukraine, Spain, Belgium, Russia, Finland
Group B: Serbia, Turkey, Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Poland

Two teams out of each group will promote to the semifinal.
