Polish players will play at the Cup of Jelcyn

During the 10^th edition of the Cup of Jelcyn, Polish players will play against Brazil, Cuba and Russia, in Yekaterinburg in term 4^th -8^th of July. Last years, the white-and-reds took the fourth place of the tournament and Joanna Wołosz has been chosen the Miss of the tournament. In the final the Chinese national team defeated Brazil 3:2 and won the event.

In 2011 polish players for the first time participated in the Cup of Jelcyn. During the match for the third place, the national team of Russia won with the team lead by Wiesław Popik 3:2 (22:25, 25:22, 25:22, 22:25, 16:14). Polish team has been composed of the following players: Joanna Wołosz, Zuzanna Efimienko, Berenika Okuniewska, Klaudia Kaczorowska, Kinga Kasprzak, Katarzyna Konieczna, Paulina Maj (libero).
