Upon failing to qualify for the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship Italy 2014, what lies ahead for the team are the qualifications for the 2015 CEV Volleyball European Championship - Women, the country’s debut in the CEV Volleyball European League – Women, as well as testing out the new format of the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix by playing in Group 2 of this competition.
Piotr Makowski has opted for some new players and to give them an opportunity to gain experience with the national team. He and his assistant Wieslaw Popik have released the following 22 names, select to represent the country in the upcoming competitions.
Setters: Emilia Kajzer, Izabela Belcik, Joanna Wolosz, Paulina Baldyga
Opposites: Izabela Kowalinska, Katarzyna Zaroslinska, Malwina Smarzek
Receivers: Aleksandra Wojcik, Daria Paszek, Elzbieta Skowronska, Julia Twardowska, Klaudia Kaczorowska, Natalia Kurnikowska, Magdalena Damaske
Middle blockers: Agnieszka Bednarek-Kasza, Agnieszka Kakolewska, Katarzyna Polec, Kornelia Moskwa, Maja Tokarska

The first official appearance of this squad will be in the 2nd Round of qualification for the 2015 CEV Volleyball European Championship - Women, scheduled in May. The Polish ladies will play in Pool B in the company of Switzerland, Ukraine and a qualifier from 1st Round’s Pool 1 featuring the teams of Georgia, Latvia, Norway and Sweden. Two single round robin tournaments will take place from May 16 through 18 in Lugano (SUI) and from May 23 through 25 in Bydgoszcz (POL).
