Jastrzębski Węgiel won in straight sets against Omonia Nicosia in Champions League

Jastrzębski Węgiel took a win in the away match against Omonia Nicosia 3:0 (28:26, 25:13, 25:16) in the 3rd Round of the CEV Champions League. The revenge match will be played on November 12 in Jastrzębie Zdrój (match starts at 17:30).

The winner of this two-legged tie will book a spot in the pool phase. There are few foreign players in the line-up of Nicosia, among them a Frenchman, Mory Sidibe - the 2015 European Champion. Team from Jastrzębie were the favourites of this match and they showed it on court. In the first set they took the lead with a few point advantage, but then they made a couple of mistakes and the hosts managed to tie the score - in the end Jastrzębski claimed the opening set. Then, they romped through two last sets.
