IBB Polonia London suffered a home loss

IBB Polonia London played their last home match in this calendar year. In front of the home crowd in Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre they clashed with Malory Eagles. After a long game full of twists, they were defeated by the guest team 2:3 (20:25, 25:19, 25:23, 18:25, 12:15). The reigning national championc of England did not manage to put a stop to their losing streak in the national league and had to satisfy with claiming only one point to ranking.

- On Saturday, we played good volleyball. We killed many tough spikes, but we also made too many mistakes in other elements. Despite leading 2:1 in sets, we were not able to win this match. We try to eliminate these mistakes, but it takes some time. In addition, the former IBB Polonia's player - Mihail Stoev performed very well on the opposite side of the net, which impeded our job even more - said Piotr Graban, coach of IBB Polonia London.

As a consolation after the defeat, the club from London have some good information for their supporters. A few days ago, they started a sale of their match shirts. In this season the shirts are available in three colour versions. This season IBB Polonia London commemorates Poland's regaining of independence, by putting the "Niepodległa" ("Independent") logo on the match shirts. You can order personalised shirts until December 13 on club's web store https://polonia-volleyball.myshopify.com/

Besides buying shirts, fans can identify with the team also by acquiring shares which have recently been issued by the club. The investment gives mutual benefits - it will allow the team to get closer to their goal - the creation of the first all-professional volleyball team in Great Britain and from the other side, it offers the supporters several promotional opportunities and active participation in the development of the sport. This Saturday, the team led by Piotr Graban will face London Lynks. The encounter will be held in East London (University of East London, E16 2RD) at 17:15. Then, on December 16, IBB Polonia will have a chance to take revenge on Malory Eagles and it will be their last match before the Christmas break.
