They are a global phenomenon – in 48 official matches they didn't lose a single match. It didn't matter if they played in youth or junior championships, they were winning everything and everywhere.
– When I watched encounters of the Polish team, I was impressed how big advantage on court you had. You were absolute dominators. You demonstrated some positive "insolence" on court, which is so needed in sport. Just like Hubert Wagner, you said that you are only interested in winning gold medal. You showed a real team spirit and huge individuals made up monolith. You were splendidly prepared. I would like to thank the Polish Volleyball Federation for creating the proper conditions for training and thank you for providing a lot of emotions – said Witold Bańka, Minister of Sport and Tourism during the ceremony of welcoming national team at the headquarters of Polish Olympic Committee after winning gold at the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship in Czech Republic.
The Polish Volleyball Association honoured with the "Dog tags" all members of team (in total 18 people – athletes and staff). The "Dog tags" were made of gold with the hallmarks of 750 and with dimensions of 35 mm x 20 mm. They have a weight of 7.76 g and are 0.6 mm thick. On the obverse was engraved inscription "Invincible", and on the reverse side of the dates of their greatest achievements - U19 European Championships (12 April 2015, Turkey), European Youth Games (1 August 2015, Georgia), U19 World Championships (23 August 2015, Argentina), U20 European Championship (10 September 2016, Bulgaria) and U21 World Championship (2 July 2017, Czech Republic).
The first awards were given by Jacek Kasprzyk, President of Polish Volleyball Federation to Bartosz Kwolek and Jędrzej Gruszczyński before the match between ONICO Warszawa and Espadon Szczecin on October 17, the next day in Radom the "Dogs tag" were received by Jakub Ziobrowski, Norbert Hubert and Tomasz Fornal (Cerrad Czarni Radom – BBTS Bielsko-Biała).
The next ceremonies are scheduled on October 29 before encounter Indykpol AZS Olsztyn vs Jastrzębski Węgiel (Jakub Kochanowski) and November 4 during the match between Asseco Resovii Rzeszów and Indykpol AZS Olsztyn (Mateusz Masłowski).
