- DoL for four age-group European Championships qualifiers completed

The next generation of Volleyball stars can look forward to the 2018 edition of the U17 Women, U18 Men, U19 Women and U20 Men European Championships – and they now know how their journey in the qualifying rounds looks like following completion of the Drawing of Lots held on Friday, October 13 at the CEV headquarters in Luxembourg. These competitions will coincide with the blossoming of the next generation of Europe’s Volleyball stars – with some heavyweights looking to cement their leading role and up-and-coming nations determined to make it to the continental elite and to show the results produced by their respective development programmes.

Teams from 30 countries have registered to participate in the competition – with Bulgaria hosting the Final Round from April 13 to 21, 2018 in Sofia and Samokov.
With Bulgaria pre-qualified for the Finals, 29 teams will contest the qualification round scheduled for the first weekend of January 2018. This will consist of five pools of four teams and three pools comprising of three teams – with the eventual eight pool winners plus the three runners-up with the best result across all pools progressing to the Finals. In order to compare the results across pools featuring four and three teams, the results from the matches played with the teams finishing last in the pools of four will be discarded.

Teams from 30 countries have registered to participate in the competition – with the Czech Republic and Slovakia hosting the Final Round from April 7 to 15, 2018 in Zlin and Puchov, respectively. The Czech city of Zlin will play host to all semi-final, finals and classification matches 5-8.
With the Czech Republic and Slovakia pre-qualified for the Finals, 28 teams will contest the qualification round scheduled for the first weekend of January 2018. This will consist of seven pools of four teams each – with the seven pool winners plus the three runners-up with the best result progressing to the Finals.

Teams from 34 countries have registered to participate in the competition – with Albania hosting the Final Round from September 1 to 9, 2018 (venues TBC).
The qualification process will commence on January 11-14, 2018 with two single-round robin tournaments involving four and three teams, respectively, with the eventual pool winners progressing to the second round. The composition of the first-round qualifiers reads as follows:
The second round scheduled for April 26-29, 2018 will include seven pools of four teams each – with the pool winners progressing straight to the Final Round. The seven runners-up plus the third-placed team with the best result across all pools will contest the third and last stage of the qualification process scheduled for late June-early July, consisting of two pools of four teams each. The winners and runners-up of each third-round qualifier will progress to the Final Round.

Teams from 31 countries have registered to participate in the competition – with the Netherlands and Belgium hosting the Final Round from July 14 to 22 in The Hague, Ede and Kortrijk.
There being no first round, the second round of qualifications scheduled for April 26-29, 2018 will include five pools of four teams and three pools of three teams – with the eight pool winners all progressing straight to the Final Round. The eight runners-up will contest the third and last stage of the qualification process scheduled for late June-early July, consisting of two pools of four teams each. The winners of each third-round qualifier will progress to the Final Round.
