Champions League: PGE Skra Bełchatów suffered a second loss

In the second encounter of the Champions League, PGE Skra Bełchatów lost to one of the strongest Russian teams - Lokomotiv Novosibirsk 0:3 (18:25, 18:25, 19:25). The team from Bełchatów played without their captain – Mariusz Wlazły.

The lack of leader was very visible on court - the Polish team were not able to fight with the strong opponent in any set. Georg Grozer, well-know in Poland after performing in Asseco Resovia Rzeszów, led the Russians to a straight-set victory.

At this moment, there is no update on the back injury due to which Mariusz Wlazły was sidelined for the match. After the defeat in Novosibirsk, PGE Skra Bełchatów have a very complicated way to advance to the Champions League play-off.
