Serbian middle blocker of Skra Bełchatów in one of the top players on this position, not only in PlusLiga, but also in the world.
So far in the current season Srećko Lisinac has gained an everage of 11.5 points per match and his effectiveness in attack has oscillated around 62%. The match against ONICO Warszawa was his the most spectacular performance of the season: in three sets he scored 17 points - 11 spikes, 4 blocks and 2 aces. Being the best scorer of the match, he was honoured with the MVP award. Once again he proved that he is a complete volleyball player.
In the past season, among other, ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle experienced how difficult is to play against Lisinac. Although ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle won the title of national champion two times in a row, they always had some serious problems to overcome Lisinac on the net.
- Srećko is one of the top middle blockers in every respect. When we talk about attack, he is definitely in the top three. When we were preparing for the Poland vs. Serbia match, we tried to find an instance of his spike being blocked. He was stopped by block only once in more than 80 attempts - said Oskar Kaczmarczyk, the former second coach of ZAKSA in interview for WP SportoweFakty.
- With such a great offensive potential as his, It would be a sin not to use Lisinac in attack - emphasized coach Philippe Blain, who led PGE Skra Bełchatów from 2016 to 2017.
The Serbian player has been with PGE Skra Bełchatów for much longer. The leaders of the club had recognized his talent already a few years ago, signing a contract with him in 2012. At that time Lisiniac was 20 years old. However, he did not immediately get a spot in the line-up.
He spent his two first seasons playing on loan. First, he for AZS Częstochowa, where he was an absolutely outstanding player. Even though his team was ranked at the bottom of the table, Lisinac was regularly awarded for his performance. Then, he spent another year in German Berlin Recycling Volleys.
After claiming the title of national champion the team, no one in Bełchatów could doubt his amazing skills. Since the 2014/2015 season he has been a main pillar of PGE Skra Bełchatów and it is hard to imagine this team without him. He should be also one of the biggest stars of the upcoming Club World Championship. A great career is still ahead of him - after all, he is only 25 years old.
