Andrzej Wrona has become the ambassador of World Tour Warsaw 2018.
A 29-year-old middle blocker was a champion of Poland in 2014 representing PGE Skra Belchatow. A silver medal of Polish league (2008, AZS Czestochowa) and two bronze medals (2015 – Delecta Bydgoszcz, 2016 – PGE Skra Belchatow) are also on his club achievements list. However, his greatest success to date is the gold medal of the 2014 World Championship with with Polish national team then lead by coach Stephane Antiga, with whom he also cooperates now in ONICO Warszawa.
For Wrona playing beach volleyball is a way of spending his free time as well as part of preparation for the league season. With his teammates from ONICO Warszawa they practice at Monta Beach Volley Club where World Tour Warsaw 2018 will take place in just a month.
