All-Star Match: The line-ups have been selected

More than six thousand fans voted for the PlusLiga All-Star Match line-ups and coaching staff. This way fourteen players and two coaches were nominated to each team. The North team will face the South team on December 15 at TAURON Arena Kraków. The voting pool was ended on Tuesday, December 5, at midnight. There is no doubt that it is going to be a great show.

North vs South. The greatest stars of PlusLiga, amazing atmosphere of TAURON Arena Kraków, excellent production by Polsat TV and plenty of surprises for the best fans in the word. In the PlusLiga All-Star Match the North will play against the South and each team will be led by two coaches. A voting poll was held on PlusLiga website and determined both line-ups (14 players and 2 coaches for each team). If any of selected by fans players won't be able to play (e.g. due to injury) he will be replaced by next player from the list with the biggest number of votes.

The unique PlusLiga All-Star Match will precede the final stage of the 2017 Club World Championship. Certainly, it’s going to be an extraordinary weekend with the best club volleyball in the world. Let us to remind that the 2017 Club World Championship start on December 12. The top eight clubs of the world will compete in the first three days of tournament in Łódź and Opole fighting for spots in semi-finals. From December 12 to 14 in Atlas Arena in Łódź, PGE SKRA Bełchatów will clash with Shanghai Volleyball Club (China), Personal Bolivar (Argentina) and Zenit Kazan (Russia). At the same time in Hala Widowiskowo-Sportowa in Opole the reigning national champions ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle will face Cucine Lube Civitanova (Italy), Sarmayeh Bank of Tehran (Iran) and defending champions Sada Cruzeiro (Brazil). The top four teams will head to Kraków to play the semi-finals and finals on December 16 and 17, in Tauron Arena. There we shall see which team can claim the most prestigious trophy in club volleyball.
